can anyone 'teach' the Life Keys course? Is there a certain designation required?

Thank you for your book Discover Who You Are.

It has been a tremendous blessing to me, personally!

I am interested in teaching your concepts to small groups within both Christian and non Christian settings. I work for a private college as an academic advisor and enjoy equipping and helping people with the ability to find know who they are, find their purpose and fulfill their destiny.
It is wonderful that your teachings minister to the spirit, soul and body.

I live in Seattle, Wa, and my wife and I have 2 children, a 17 and 10 yr old. They can benefit from learning the life keys as well.

Please let me know what I need specifically to get started. Also advise regarding any requirements I need to meet such as patent etc.

Thnak you.

Hi--yes, anyone can teach LifeKeys. We designed the materials with that goal in mind. Here are different ways to get started, from the least to most intensive, depending on users' backgrounds and purpose.

--Read the materials yourself, complete all of the discovery tools, and then lead a small group through the LifeKeys process. One pastor asked for deacons to volunteer for a small group. A colleague took her neighborhood book study group through it over a 12-week period. Hearing questions from a diverse group and participating in the discussions can ready LifeKeys leaders with enough to get started, using the simple leaders guide that is downloadable on the home page of this website

--Purchase the LifeKeys Leadership Resource. It has background information, more exercises, debriefing tips, and reproducible handouts to make leading easier.

--Attend a train-the-trainer session. The schedule is posted at www.changingchurch.org. We've tried to keep these as reasonable as possible. Day one is for personal discovery; days 2 and 3 cover how to best facilitate a large-group program and how to use LifeKeys in various settings. We do not "certify" people as trainers because many people who choose to teach LifeKeys are already certified MBTI(R) trainers and are capable of teaching the materials without additional training. People who attend this session, though, report that it is invaluable in preparing to lead LifeKeys.

Thanks and let me know if you have further questions! Jane

I've taught LifeKeys in a previous church but without the Leader's Guide. Is it possible to teach w/this resource (now that I have it) without purchasing either the notebook or the book? Of course some people will want one or both and will be encouraged to get these...but others in our church will want to spend as little as possible in this way. I've encouraged everyone to get the WorkBook as it works best to write one's discoveries down as well as to have a written record of insights gained.
You can make as many copies of the RM as you need, once you own the leader's guide. You can also pick up the Find Your Fit Leadership Resource (only $14) and you'll find some extra RMs that'll help. Your church could purchase a set of books or workbooks that people could use during the session, but write their notes on ordinary paper (just like school textbooks you checked out for a year). We did try to keep the workbook at a low price, though, so people would have a permanent record.

Can you direct me to where I can find the price for the "Discover Who You Are" kit, including the DVD? Thanks.
The best place is www.amazon.com or www.changingchurch.org If you search "Kise LifeKeys" it'll come up.

Do you have a version in Spanish for the young ones? I'd like to introduce this in Latin America. Also Any training around the Charlotte Area?
Spanish versions...I know a mission group was working on a few pieces so they could use it. Translations happen through interested parties contacting Bethany House, the publisher, and contracting to produce them. LifeKeys is available in Korean and there is a Nigerian version! And sorry, I don't know of a training near Charlotte.
